The ordinary program of the TV series “Frank Dialogue” with participation of Mr. Vahagn Tamrazayan, of the senior lawyer of Tavush AAC was aired on “Qamut” TV on 14.04.2010. Based on peculiarities of complaints of the beneficiaries who had applied to Tavush AAC, the organizers invited Mr. Rashid Aslanyan, Head of Social Welfare Department of Noyemberyan City, to participate in the program.

On 23.03.2010 Advocacy and Assistance Center of Aragatsotn Marz of the Republic of Armenia hosted Mrs. Beatriz Casals, President of Casals & Associates, Inc, and Mr. Eduardo Flores, Deputy Chief of Party at the USAID MAAC Activity. Mr. Sergey Sargsyan, Program Coordinator of Anticorruption Centers Mobilizing Action against Corruption (MAAC) Activity, and Mrs. Susanna Levonyan, the beneficiary of the AAC attended the meeting as well.

December 9 - International Anticorruption Day in Syunik

On the 9th of December, in the International Anticorruption Day,TIAC has made an announcement

On 10 March 2010, presentation of the Report on the Results of Public Monitoring, which was carried out with active participation of the Advocacy and Assistance Centers and Reception Centers operated by the AYLA, in the framework of project “Multi-Component Monitoring in the Notaries Offices of the Republic of Armenia” took place in the office of Vayots Dzor AAC of the RA.

Since February 2010, The Armenian Young Lawyers Association, which operates the AACs and AARCs under the project “Establishment and Operation of Advocacy and AssistanceCenters and ReceptionCenters in Hrazdan, Yeghegnadzor, Ararat, Ashtarak, Aparan, and TalinCities”

On 6 July 2010, Prof. Barlow Der Mugrdechian, coordinator of the Armenian Studies Program and director of the Center for Armenian Studies at Fresno State University, Dr. Bill Erysian is currently serving as Director of Grants and International Projects for the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology at Fresno State University, as well as Mr. Eduardo Flores, Deputy Chief of Party at the USAID MAAC Activity and Mr. Sergey Sargsyan, Program Coordinator of Anticorruption Centers Mobilizing Action against Corruption (MAAC) Activity visited the AAC of Aragatsotn Marz of the RA, representatives of Aragatsotn Marz AAC staff as well as the lawyers of Talin and Ashtarak AARCs  attended the meeting as well.

Court Sitting on the Claim to impose a penalty on cost recovery “Ararat “Housing and Public Utility Services” LLC versus the Citizens of Ararat City S.Sukiasyan, G.Karapetyan, A.Sargsyan, B.Hakobyan, L.Hovhannisyan” took place in the Court of General Jurisdiction of Ararat and Vayots Dzor Marzes on 12 April 2010.

Court Sitting on the claim to impose a penalty on cost recovery “Ararat “Housing and Public Utility Services” LLC versus the Citizen of Ararat City Vanik Tosunyan” took place in the Court of General Jurisdiction of Ararat and Vayots Dzor Marzes (in Artashat city) at 14:30pm, on 20 April 2010. During the court session advocate L.Grigoryan, the representative of respondents, introduced arguments claiming to recognize the claims of the applicant invalid, and made statements referring to the evidences provided by the applicant.
